EFY Readers' Choice Awards 2010

Champions of the electronics industry recognised for their contribution at the recently held EFY Readers' Choice Awards in New Delhi; Awards presented across 26 product categories and four special categories.

As a premier publishing group for the electronics industry, EFY realises the importance of encouragement and support required by the fledgling electronics hardware industry for its development in India akin to the support received by the software industry sometime back. The Group recently organised EFY Readers’ Choice Awards to recognise the contribution of leading people and companies in the Indian electronics industry.

Ever since its inception in 2004, the aim of EFY Awards has been to motivate, support and recognise outstanding brands, organisations and individuals who have acted as catalysts in furthering the growth story of the Indian electronics industry. The awards have evolved with time in response to the demands of and suggestions received from the stakeholders of the Indian electronics ecosystem and our numerous readers.

Ramesh Chopra, managing director, EFY Group, while delivering the inaugural address at EFY Awards 2010 ceremony at Pragati Maidan in Delhi, said, "Being the leading publication in the electronics industry, we have taken the initiative to identify the leading companies and individuals in the industry, with the inputs of the electronics fraternity."

The Awards jury comprised senior executives from nine industry associations like ELCINA, CEAMA, LEDMA, ISA and TEMA.
