Requirements
Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience
More than 4 years’ experience in low-level embedded Firmware development
Technical Competency
- Experience with programming in C/C++ for development, debugging, testing and performance analysis
- Experience with embedded processors like ARM architecture , Microchip controllers and boot mechanism, interrupt priorities and experience with configuring peripherals
- Experience with peripherals such as USB, SPI, I2C, UART, RS485 GPIO etc.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (topologies, switching, routing) and network protocols (ETH, UDP, TCP, HTTP, TLS), Modbus and GSM/GPRS communication protocol.
- Experience reading hardware Schematics, clock-level issues, bridges, delays, interrupts, clock gating, polling etc.
- Ability to isolate and troubleshoot hardware, system and Firmware problems
- Basic understanding of Internet of Things (IoT) and internet-based technologies
- Realizing the different stages of the formal development of software (specification, design of the components and modules, coding and verification)
- Basic understanding of project management, Jira Software development tool
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate with multi-disciplinary stakeholders (system engineers, hardware engineers, managers, chief engineer etc…)
- Autonomy and ability to find solutions and compromises
- Proficient in English (speaking and writing)
