To strengthen our team, we are looking for a motivated and dynamic personality for our Division Plasma Control Technologies at our location in Flamatt as Embedded Software Developer (m/f)
In this function you will be entrusted with the following main tasks:
- Hardware related software development in C/ C++ on multiple embedded platforms
- Design, architecture and development of embedded software to control our impedance matching network and RF-generators
- Design and implementation of software modules within our RTOS systems or in the Linux user space in C and C++
- Definition of the needs for an automated build and test system and support to setup the system
- Definition of test specifications and implementation of unit and module tests
- Define and implement functional and system level tests
- Supporting the definition of specifications within the requirement engineering process
- Development of complex software modules for our embedded SoC based systems
- Support of the design and implementation of a web based user interface
- Documentation in English
For this function you bring the following requirements:
- Bachelor or Master in Informatics, Electronics or equivalent knowledge
- Deep level of experiences in the development of embedded systems (bare metal, RTOS or Linux-Systems) as well as SW modules
- Very good C and C++ knowledge is necessary
- Clean code is no unknown concept for you
- Very good knowledge of embedded ROTS systems are necessary
- Knowledge about ARM based SoC platforms are helpful
- General knowledge about embedded Linux systems is helpful
- Experiences with automated build Systems (for example Jenkins) are useful
- Very good knowledge in the embedded SW development and design pattern are necessary
- Experiences in board start-up are important
- Very good spoken and written English and at least good knowledge of German desirable
- Open minded to learn new things
