I am working with a client that is requiring smart parking for two locations. One 3 story parking garage (300) stalls and outside parking with (100) parking stalls. I am looking to get some specification requirements for you systems etc.
This project is for municipality locations that are adjacent to one another. The specifications requested will be used to present to the city for approval informing the requirements to convert the locations to Smart Parking. The below information is what I believe we need but I also ask you to include anything else I may have overlooked to be included as well. In addition, cost related to various options you may have for your systems.
Parking Garage– Our client has a parking structure with 5.5 floors at 501 stalls. The only floors that will be converted to Smart Parking Technology are 2-4 with a total of approximately 300 stalls. The structure will have 3 entrance locations at ground level requiring a Marquee at each entrance displaying available parking stalls available and floor number. This system will be set up without charging each vehicle so no security gate/arm or ticket dispensing will be necessary. As the vehicle continues into the parking garage and up to each floor a marquee will display stalls available for that floor. There will be a need for sensors for each stall either overhead or on the parking stall itself.
Specs Needed– I would like to get specification requirements for your system such as electrical needs for Marquees at the entrances and the mounting requirements, overhead locations throughout garage and mounting requirements, size of marquees available and recommended size for a parking garage, wireless or electrical needs/availability for the sensors, software application used to monitor, warranty of product.
Outside Parking Lot– The second location is an open outside parking lot with approximately 170 parking stalls again requiring sensors either overhead using an overhead structure ie. post to be placed for the sensor or a sensor located on each stall so as vehicle pulls in it is recognized. This system will also be for non-payment so need for security gate or ticket dispensing maching.

Additional Question– Does your system have a mobile app as well if so is that additional charge or is it integrated into the software already?
