DC motor, switch, PWM controller and battery issue

    Drawing of PWM and Press button switch

    Hello, I’m trying to controll the speed of my DC motor and have a switch to turn the motor On and Off. But despite my best efforts I can’t get it to work, probably because it is my first time trying to mess with electronics, so I would be pretty thankful if someone could explain to me how to fix my circuit 🙂

    In case it is hard to see, I twisted the red wire of the battery with the black wire of the switch, because it is what was shown in this video: https://youtu.be/YFUtLLpzUaU?t=242 though the cables are blue.
