When power cuts keep coming and space is limited a smaller battery claims to run longer, last more years and replace many others all at once.

Frequent power cuts and limited installation space force many users to stack small VRLA or SMF batteries. This increases wiring, maintenance, heat issues, and replacement cost. Okaya’s JXT 90Ah inverter battery is built to solve this by delivering higher backup from a single, compact battery.
The JXT 90Ah targets homes, small offices, and sites where space is tight but backup demand is high. Instead of using multiple low-capacity batteries, users can install one unit with a full 90Ah capacity in a smaller footprint. This reduces clutter and simplifies battery management.
It is also aimed at locations where VRLA batteries fail early due to frequent deep discharge. The JXT uses tubular battery design, which handles repeated discharge cycles better and offers a longer usable life.
The battery includes an electrolyte management system that improves electrolyte movement, controls heat, and keeps output stable during long outages and voltage fluctuations. This helps maintain backup performance in real operating conditions, not just on paper.
Backup performance is validated through Okaya’s Certified Backup Hours method, which measures actual backup time under fixed load conditions. This gives users a clearer idea of what the battery can deliver during outages.
Beyond home inverters, the JXT 90Ah is suited for professional and semi-industrial systems. It can replace multiple 24Ah to 65Ah VRLA or SMF batteries in online UPS setups, telecom equipment, FTTH installations, automation panels, fire alarms, ATMs, and data logging systems.
Using fewer batteries reduces wiring complexity, routine maintenance, and long-term replacement cost. The compact form factor also makes it easier to fit into racks, telecom cabinets, and small equipment rooms.
The battery comes with a 48-month warranty, addressing the short service life problem common with small VRLA batteries that often need replacement within two years.
The JXT 90Ah is available through Okaya’s authorised dealer network, providing local installation and after-sales support.
Commenting on the launch, Arush Gupta, CEO & Director of Okaya Power Private Limited said, “The JXT 90Ah has been designed for real usage conditions where space, backup reliability, and maintenance matter as much as capacity. It is a natural progression in our tubular battery portfolio.”
