    I want to control AC light brightness using PWM and digital signals. What is the best way to do it

    Once I used a TRIAC-based voltage dimmer with Raspberry Pi/Arduino to adjust the brightness of a traditional 220V light bulb.     What kind of AC bulb? Incandescent, CFL or LED type?
    What is the power rating of the bulb?
