Technician/Sr.Technician At NIT Trichy

National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli (NITT) has announced notification for recruitment to the post of Technician/Sr.Technician with 45 vacancies. Candidate with the background of Diploma/12th/ITI in the relevant field can apply for this job. The selection process will be based on the interview. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for this recruitment on or before 16 December 2020 to 18 January 2021.

Educational Qualifications

For Technician:

• Senior Secondary (10+2) with Science form a Govt recognized board with at least 60 % Marks. Or
• Senior Secondary (10+2) form a Govt recognized board with at least 50% marks and ITI Course of one year or higher duration in appropriate trade. Or
• Secondary (10) with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 Years or Higher duration in appropriate trade. Or
• Diploma in Engineering of three Year’s duration in relevant field from a Govt recognized polytechnic / Institute.

For Senior Technician:

• Senior Secondary (10+2) with Science form a Govt recognized board with at least 60 % Marks. Or
• Senior Secondary (10+2) form a Govt recognized board with at least 50% marks and ITI Course of one year or higher duration in appropriate trade. Or
• Secondary (10) with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 Years or Higher duration in appropriate trade. Or
• Diploma in Engineering of three Year’s duration inn relevant field from a Govt recognized polytechnic / Institute.

Desirable: Bachelor Degree(B.E/B.Tech).

Age Limit

• Technician – up to 27 years
• Senior Technician – up to 33 years

Upper age is relaxable by:

• For OBC (NCL) – up to 3 years
• For SC/ST – up to 5 years
• For PwD (UR) – up to 10 years
• For PwD + OBC (NCL) – up to 13 years
• For PwD + SC/ST – up to 15 years

• Technician – 30 Posts
• Senior Technician – 15 Posts

Salary

• Technician – Pay Level 3 [PB-1 & GP 2000/-]
• Senior Technician – Pay Level 4 [PB-1 & GP 2400/-]

NIT Trichy Selection Process 2021

• Screening of online applications received may be done to restrict the number of applicants to be called for selection process.
• Selection will be based on their performance in Screening Test / Skill Test / Main Written Test
