Junior engineer testing will be the primary interface between manufacturing, Lean, & quality for all manufacturing test process development, conducting Electrical Testing and trouble shooting.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Thorough testing & troubleshooting of power products.
- Responsible for achieving zero DPU, zero EHS incidents & maintaining 5S+ in testing area.
- Improvement of testing procedure and test stand.
- Justify and procure test hardware and other capital expenditures needed for production test
- Setup and deploys test hardware, software, stations, etc. in production
- Train new test technicians in the use of test equipment, test process and coach the testing team
- Work with cross-functional teams to plan test development schedules and allocate resources
- Lead and drive continuous improvement projects
- Other duties as required
Qualifications
- Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- Minimum of 2+ years related working experience in testing Power cabinets, control panels, converters, inverters, DCS, switch gears etc.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience in testing of rectifiers, inverters and switch gears. Hands-on experience in testing of the exciter and starter will be an added advantage
Preferred Qualifications
- Control & power cabinet testing, problem solving and PCBA level trouble shooting
