The EIRE300 is an open-frame 300W power supply series, designed by Vox Power Ltd, Dublin with a low 1-inch profile and a 4×2-inch footprint, delivers high efficiency and safety for demanding environments, reaching a peak output of 375W.

Its power density surpasses 37.5W/in³, while achieving up to 95% efficiency, substantially reducing energy loss. Its versatility allows for 200W operation under convection cooling at 115V AC, making it ideal for various applications, from patient-monitoring devices to industrial control systems. Vox Power’s design incorporates features tailored for seamless integration, including 2x MOPP isolation and low leakage currents to meet stringent medical standards.

Equipped with crucial safety elements, this device offers internal dual-line fusing, remote sensing, and an AC_OK signal. The series is ‘BF’ (body floating) rated, essential for medical devices requiring direct patient contact. This rating ensures that devices, from surgical instruments to critical care equipment, can safely function in close proximity to patients without electrical risks.

With output voltages ranging from 12V to 60V—including common options such as 12V, 15V, 18V, 24V, 28V, 36V, 48V, and 54V. The latest power supply series supports a wide adjustment range to accommodate non-standard voltage requirements. To enhance operational safety, it includes over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature protections as standard, adding an extra layer of reliability.

The device is designed to meet rigorous international standards, certified under 60601-1 and 62368-1 for medical and information technology engineering (ITE) applications. It adheres to EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) class B for emissions and operates reliably at altitudes up to 5000 meters. Additionally, the unit meets requirements for household and laboratory equipment standards, reinforcing its broad applicability.

Engineered with long-life electrolytic capacitors, the EIRE300 is conformal coated to protect against environmental contaminants. This construction supports a broad operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C, with a calculated MTBF (mean time between failures) exceeding 500,000 hours, underscoring its reliability and endurance in critical settings.
