A DC electronic load platform supports power testing for AI systems, charging equipment, fuel cells, and data centers with scalable capacity and response control.

ITECH has launched the IT8100A/E Series, a line of DC electronic loads designed for power validation in applications including AI server power supplies, GPU systems, DC charging equipment, and fuel cells. The series focuses on three areas: power density, dynamic response, and scalable power operation.
The IT8100A/E Series delivers up to 7.2 kW in a 3U unit and up to 86.4 kW in a 37U cabinet. This allows more testing capacity within the same rack space, supporting applications such as AI infrastructure, telecom systems, and charging equipment where power requirements continue to increase.
For system-level testing, the platform supports parallel operation up to 1.8 MW. This enables testing from single units to MW-level systems, covering AI power systems, renewable energy converters, and industrial power electronics.
The series supports dynamic slew rates of up to 150 A/μs, allowing simulation of current changes and transient load conditions. This applies to testing AI server power supplies, GPU power modules, fuel cells, and power modules where load changes affect system performance.
For peak load testing, the IT8100A/E Series supports 1.5× short-term overpower capability. This allows the system to handle current surges and peak load conditions without requiring larger test system configurations.
The lineup also includes a 60 V, 2400 A, 6 kW low-voltage, high-current configuration for AI GPU power validation. This configuration is intended for computing systems that operate at lower voltages and higher current levels.
The IT8100A/E Series is available in four voltage ranges: 60 V, 150 V, 600 V, and 1200 V. The product family includes the IT8100A Series, IT8100E Series, and low-voltage high-current models, allowing system configuration based on testing requirements.
The launch reflects demand from AI computing, battery systems, data center infrastructure, and energy applications for higher power levels and dynamic load testing. The IT8100A/E Series expands ITECH’s product range in MW-level electronic load testing.
