How can embedded systems fit more connectivity into less space? The board offers multiple display outputs, dual LAN and a varied expansion options.

Axiomtek has released the MANO330 Thin Mini-ITX motherboard designed for embedded systems. The motherboard offers a compact 170 x 170mm form factor with multi-display capabilities, dual LAN and expansion storage.
The motherboard supports the Intel Processor N97 or N150 with DDR5-4800 memory. When using the N97, the motherboard can support up to 32GB of memory. The N150 version supports up to 16GB. The motherboard can also be powered with a 12-24V DC input.
This motherboard provides multiple display options with HDMI, VGA, LVDS/eDP and USB Type-C with DisplayPort. It also provides networking capabilities with a 2.5GbE LAN port and a GbE LAN port.
Multiple storage and wireless capabilities can be added with the three M.2 interfaces. The Key M 2280 slot offers storage via SATA or NVMe. The Key E 2230 slot can add wireless modules. The Key B 3042/3052 interface with a Nano SIM slot can add cellular connectivity.
The MANO330 also offers multiple connectivity options with serial ports, USB, SATA and GPIO. There are two RS-232 ports that can be converted to RS-422/RS-485 via jumpers. Four more RS-232 ports offer connectivity to other serial devices.
“The MANO330 is highly flexible with versatile display, connectivity, expansion and industrial I/O capability. System developers will find they have more flexibility when designing their solutions,” says Tina Tu, Product Manager at Axiomtek.
