A range of three-phase power supplies for DIN rails provides high efficiency, compact sizes, and reliable performance for industrial and power use.

RECOM has introduced a range of three-phase DIN rail power supplies, developed with their recent acquisition, LECO. The RACPRO1 series includes models with output ratings of 240W, 480W, and 960W, with widths of 43mm, 52mm, and 80mm. The design teams have focused on electrical efficiency and thermal management, eliminating the need for side-spacing for cooling, optimizing system packing density.
The power supplies achieve up to 97.1% efficiency, enabling full power operation at up to +60°C with convection cooling and a wide operating range down to -40°C. All versions can deliver up to 20% more power at +45°C ambient and 50% more power for five seconds, ideal for capacitive or high-inrush loads without over-specifying the supply.
The inputs range from 320-575VAC three-phase or 430-850VDC, with the 240W version also supporting two-phase 350-575VAC. The RACPRO1-T240 offers regulated 24VDC output, adjustable between 24-28VDC. The RACPRO1-T480 and RACPRO1-T960 models provide adjustable 24V or 48V (48-56VDC) outputs.
Manufactured in Europe, the units are designed for industrial environments. Features include surge immunity, low no-load power consumption, and a DC-OK signal. The 480W and 960W models also have a CV/CC output, supporting battery charging and output paralleling.
The range complies with the DIN rail mechanical standard EN 60715, and the connections use a 25-degree tool-less push-fit system, making installation simple. The power supplies meet safety certifications including IEC/EN/UL 62368-1, IEC/EN/UL/CSA 61010-1, and IEC/EN/UL 61010-2-201, and adhere to EMC standards EN 61000-6-4 Class B and EN61000-6-2 for emissions and immunity.
These AC/DC power supplies are suitable for applications in industrial, renewables, power distribution, and test and measurement.
Michael Peters, Business & Product Manager, commented: “With the innovative and distinctive design of the RACPRO1 series, we have simplified the usability of DIN rail devices while simultaneously setting a new benchmark with an efficiency of up to 97.1%.”
