Kingston Technology has introduced a new form factor for its NV3 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD line, the M.2 2230, joining the existing 2280 model. This compact version is designed for users who need a fast low power NVMe storage upgrade for compatible laptops and handheld gaming consoles.

The NV3 2230 is a single-sided SSD that offers storage capacities of up to 2TB, making it suitable for devices with limited internal space. It uses a Gen 4×4 NVMe controller and delivers read speeds up to 6,000MB/s and write speeds up to 5,000MB/s, helping systems respond faster across a range of workloads.

Available in 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB capacities, the NV3 2230 is built to support storage-heavy applications, games, and files. It also comes with a one-year license for Acronis® True Image for Kingston and access to the Kingston SSD Manager software, which helps users monitor drive health, update firmware, and securely erase data.
