Leankon announces its flexible printed circuit (FPC) WiFi 7 antenna, the LK1810601, engineered for small-form-factor applications. As a monopole antenna leveraging advanced coupling feed technology, it supports tri-band WiFi operation across 2.4–2.5 GHz, 5.15–5.85 GHz, and 5.925–7.125 GHz.

Beyond WiFi 7, it integrates with WiFi 6E, WiFi 5, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Matter, Thread, and V2X protocols, making it a versatile and diverse wireless ecosystems. Its standout combination of ultra-small footprint and high-performance capabilities positions it as an ideal choice for next- gen IoT devices.

The antenna covers frequency ranges used across regions without requiring redesigns. This reduces time to market for device manufacturers targeting international deployment. The device employs linear polarisation and an omni-directional radiation pattern. It ensures even signal distribution.

This antenna addresses critical pain points in wireless design:

  • Space limitations: Between size and performance, no sacrifice in range or interference. enabling denser PCB layouts without sacrificing efficiency.
  • Multi-protocol fragmentation: Juggling WiFi, Bluetooth, and mesh networks can cause compatibility issues and higher costs. This provides integration, cutting development time and bill-of-materials (BOM) expenses.

Antenna keeps signal transfer stable with return loss values that keep Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR)  below 3 across all WiFi bands. It delivers peak gains of 3.6 dB at 2.4 GHz, 4.9 dB at 5 GHz, and 4.0 dB at 6 GHz. Its efficiency stays above 55 percent across all frequencies and reaches over 60 percent in the 5 GHz range, helping reduce power loss and extend battery life.
