Keysight Technologies, Inc. has launched the PathWave Advanced Power Application Suite, a software platform that streamlines the battery testing and design process. This platform integrates PathWave’s IV Curve Measurement software, Advanced Power Control and Analysis, and Advanced Battery Test and Emulation into a unified testing environment.

Battery design engineers face numerous challenges, such as extensive testing requirements when working with various batteries and creating custom models, as well as the need for multiple instruments and software tools that lead to complex setups, synchronization issues, and time-consuming workflows. These factors often delay the replication of designs and extend time to market.

The PathWave Advanced Power Application Suite tackles these issues by simplifying battery testing and emulation. It enables engineers to generate dynamic current waveforms in real time and easily export battery profiles. With its integrated range of software solutions, the platform aims to improve usability and speed up development cycles.

The solution provides key benefits, including more accurate and repeatable tests.
