e-con Systems has introduced the RouteCAM_CU86 – an ONVIF-compliant 4K HDR GigE camera built with the Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 sensor. This camera is designed to deliver exceptional image clarity and high reliability, even in difficult lighting conditions. It comes with an IP67-rated enclosure and is ideal for smart surveillance, intersection monitoring, sports and gaming analytics, and dental lighting systems. RouteCAM_CU86 supports efficient H.264/H.265 compression, enabling bandwidth-friendly 4K video streaming over standard Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) networks.
The camera integrates the Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 sensor with e-con Systems’ ISP tuning expertise to offer high-quality 4K video, up to 110dB High Dynamic Range (HDR), and impressive low-light performance down to 0.1 lux. This allows clear imaging in environments such as shadowed parking basements, intersections with bright headlights, and brightly illuminated medical or surgical spaces.
Being ONVIF-compliant, camera ensures plug-and-play compatibility with a wide range of Network Video Recorders (NVRs) and Video Management Systems (VMS), enabling faster deployment and reducing integration efforts and costs.
