The Opportunity
- Design or modify electrical/electronic engineering assemblies, layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications
- Problem identification and troubleshooting a variety of complex electrical problems with limited supervision
- Define, coordinate, perform and generate engineering test reports with limited supervision
- Perform engineering analysis with limited supervision
- Executing engineering projects, including interaction of key suppliers
- Install, power up of tools in lab and Debug & rectify variety of field issues
- Generate electrical product specifications
- Specify and review engineering documentation
What You Need
- Design Power Electronics circuits
- Design power electronic components
- Performing heat dissipation and cooling calculations, basic electromagnetic calculations
- Circuit simulation skills using Matlab Simulink/ LTSpice/ Pspice
- Perform Load calculation
- Component selection
- Electrical Software E3s, EPLAN
- Understanding of Electrical Standards UL508A, NFPA79, NEC, SEMI etc.
Desired Skills
- Hands-on experience in microcontrollers/microprocessors, PLCs
- Communication Protocols: Ethercat, TCP/IP, Modbus RS485 and Modbus TCP/IP
- Software: LabVIEW (Basic Level)
- Basic understanding of servers
- CAD modelling software Auto-Desk-Inventor, UG-NX etc.,
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in power electronics is preferred, however Bachelor’s in EE with sufficient relevant experience can be considered as well
Experience: 2-6 Years in EE design
