Role Overview
We’re looking for a hands-on Hardware Technician to join our hardware engineering team at BatteryPool. You’ll be responsible for bringing up, testing, repairing, and maintaining our electronic hardware systems — the backbone of our EV battery and charger network. This role is ideal for someone with solid experience in electronics assembly, troubleshooting, and quality control who enjoys working on real products every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform board bring-up, including power-on testing and validation of new hardware.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults at component and board level.
- Conduct quality control (QC) checks to ensure hardware reliability and performance.
- Execute SMD soldering, rework, and assembly tasks, including fine-pitch soldering.
- Identify and handle a wide range of electronic components, supporting component inventory and procurement.
- Support maintenance, repair, and upkeep of deployed hardware in the field.
- Maintain repair logs, test reports, and assembly records for traceability and compliance.
Qualifications and Skills
- 3–4 years of experience in electronics assembly or servicing.
- Prior exposure to electronics assembly lines or PCB manufacturing setups.
- Strong hands-on skills in SMD soldering, fine-pitch IC rework (QFN, QFP), and circuit debugging.
- Solid knowledge of electronic components, troubleshooting techniques, and QC processes.
- Familiarity with test instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
- Attention to detail, systematic approach, and ability to meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
