Low on space, heat, or budget? This DIN-Rail power supply gives power, efficiency, and easy setup for industrial and automation systems.

Space, heat, and budget are common headaches when designing industrial or automation systems. The RECOM RACPRO1-S120 DIN-Rail PSU solves these issues by delivering high power in a tiny footprint. It’s perfect for engineers, system integrators, and OEMs who need reliable, efficient power without sacrificing space or thermal performance.
Despite being just 100 mm high, 112 mm deep, and 28 mm wide, it packs up to 120 W of continuous output with convection-only cooling. That gives a power density of 500 W per liter, with efficiency reaching 93.3 %. For warmer environments or short bursts, it can deliver up to 144 W at 45 °C and handle surges of 150 % for five seconds, making it suitable for motors or inductive loads.
Output is flexible, with adjustable voltages at 12 V, 24 V, or 48 V DC. Extended return voltage tolerance protects systems from back-feed, and a DC-OK signal makes monitoring simple. The PSU runs on universal single-phase AC or 88–370 V DC, with active inrush current limiting to prevent stress on components.
It meets global safety standards and complies with EN 61000-6-4 Class B for emissions and EN 61000-6-2 for immunity. No-load power consumption is extremely low at 0.3 W. Installation is fast with tool-less mounting and 25° push-in connectors. Reliability is high, with a lifetime expectancy of 111,000 hours at 40 °C, and it weighs just 330 g, making it suitable for dense, compact, and mission-critical systems.
“We are leading the market with our new DIN-Rail PSUs, which are ideal for a wide range of demanding industrial applications such as automation, energy distribution, test and measurement, infrastructure, data/telecom and many more”, comments Michael Peters, Business & Product Manager of RECOM.
