NeoSapien a Bengaluru-based startup has secured its second Indian patent for Neo 1, an AI-native wearable computing platform designed to capture, process and organise spoken information in real time. The company has also launched the device in the US, marking the expansion of its AI hardware platform into international markets.
Unlike conventional voice assistants that respond to prompts, the platform is designed to continuously process spoken interactions with user-controlled recording. It is intended to reduce the effort involved in documenting meetings, tracking discussions and retrieving information, making it suitable for knowledge-intensive environments such as enterprises, research organisations, education and distributed teams. By converting conversations into structured, searchable information, the wearable aims to improve productivity and knowledge management without relying on manual note-taking.
Neo 1 runs on the company’s proprietary Second Brain Operating System, which combines speech recognition and natural language processing to generate real-time transcripts, meeting summaries and action items. Supporting more than 100 languages, the platform organises conversational data for later retrieval while enabling multilingual collaboration. The company’s latest patent, Indian Patent, covers an emotion-sensitive LED wearable device for real-time emotional feedback, adding contextual interaction capabilities to the wearable. Granted under the Patents Act, 1970, the patent provides protection for the invention for 20 years from the filing date.
The launch reflects growing interest in AI-native wearable computing platforms that integrate continuous speech intelligence into professional workflows rather than limiting AI interactions to software applications. By combining multilingual speech processing, contextual memory and wearable hardware, the platform represents an emerging approach to hands-free AI-assisted information management.
