A new SCADA/BMS platform release combines energy optimisation, low-code automation, real-time analysis, flexible engineering, and cybersecurity for critical infrastructure.

PcVue 17 is a new release of the PcVue SCADA/BMS platform by ARC INFORMATIQUE designed to improve energy efficiency, operational performance, engineering productivity, and cybersecurity across buildings and industrial systems. The software brings data from multiple sources into a unified environment, enabling operators to monitor systems and manage energy-related processes from a central platform.
A key capability is its approach to energy flexibility. The platform can optimise energy demand through control scenarios based on operational data, with support for AI-based forecasting. This can help systems respond to expected demand, avoid consumption peaks, and reduce energy costs. The capability is intended for applications where energy consumption needs to be coordinated across building services or industrial processes.
The key features are:
- Extended connectivity for broader system integration
- Updated UX/UI for operator interaction
- Enhanced configuration for faster system setup
- AI-optimised processing for intelligent system operations
- Strengthened cybersecurity for critical infrastructure
For operational workflows, PcVue 17 adds intelligent assistance through low-code interfaces. Users can configure workflows and orchestrate complex processes without relying entirely on conventional programming. Real-time data analysis and AI processing can be used to automate routine activities and support faster decision-making across systems and teams.
The release also targets engineering productivity. Enriched object libraries and flexible modelling capabilities are intended to simplify system design and allow engineers to develop applications more efficiently. This is particularly relevant to projects involving monitoring and control of technical or industrial systems, where configurations can span multiple equipment and processes.
Cybersecurity is another major part of the release. PcVue 17 is backed by IEC 62443-4-1 and IEC 62443-4-2 certifications, covering secure development processes and product security for industrial automation systems. These capabilities position the platform for use in critical infrastructure where operational continuity and resilience against cyber threats are important. The platform is applicable across buildings, energy, infrastructure, transportation, water and waste, oil and gas, and industrial environments.
