A new premium electric SUV variant has been introduced in India by BYD India at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹41.90 lakh, offering a more accessible entry point into the premium eSUV segment. The BYD SEALION 7 Dynamic is powered by a 71.8 kWh Blade Battery, delivering a claimed 520 km range (NEDC) and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds.
Designed for customers seeking a combination of electric performance, technology, and everyday usability, the variant uses BYD’s e-Platform 3.0 and adopts an aerodynamic design inspired by the company’s Ocean Aesthetics. It is available in Atlantis Grey, Cosmos Black, Aurora White, and Shark Grey, expanding the model range alongside the existing Premium and Performance variants.
The vehicle integrates a Blade Battery with Cell-to-Body technology and Intelligence Torque Adaptation Control. These technologies are intended to support battery safety, vehicle stability, and responsive driving across different conditions. A panoramic glass roof and rotating touchscreen infotainment system add to the cabin experience, while a range of safety and driver-assistance technologies supports daily and long-distance driving.
