A new computing module combines AI, graphics, and processing to help machines handle data and respond in real time.

ARBOR Technology Corp. has introduced the COMX-C710, a COM-HPC Client Size C module built around AMD Ryzen AI Embedded X100 Series processors and designed for AI-intensive edge applications. The module combines CPU, GPU, and NPU processing in a single platform, delivering up to 126 TOPS of AI performance, including up to 50 TOPS from the integrated XDNA 2 NPU.
The module is aimed at applications where machines need to process sensor data, understand their surroundings, and respond in real time. ARBOR is targeting robotics, medical systems, and industrial automation, where computing, graphics processing, and AI inference increasingly need to run close to the point of operation.
The COM-HPC module uses the CPU, GPU, and NPU for different parts of the workload. The CPU handles system control and general-purpose computing, while the GPU can process demanding tasks such as multi-camera computer vision and simultaneous localisation and mapping. The NPU is dedicated to AI inference workloads such as object detection and scene understanding. This approach is designed to support real-time perception and decision-making in robotic systems, including workloads using AI models such as YOLO.
The module also integrates LPDDR5x memory for high-speed data access and power efficiency. Support for extended operating temperatures and a wide input-voltage range is intended to help the module operate in demanding environments.
The COMX-C710 is designed for applications including autonomous mobile robots, collaborative robots, robotic arms, medical imaging, endoscopy, patient monitoring, and industrial automation. By combining computing, graphics processing, and AI acceleration on a single module, it can reduce the need for separate processing components and simplify system architecture.
