GlobalLogic has introduced the Test Automation Kit (TAK), an AI-native framework designed to automate validation of broadband and 5G Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) equipment. The framework converts plain-English test requirements into executable and validated Python scripts, helping engineering teams increase test coverage and reduce the time required to create and maintain automation.

The kit is aimed at telecommunications operators, broadband service providers, CPE manufacturers, and engineering teams working with fixed broadband gateways and 5G FWA customer premises equipment (CPE). It can orchestrate tests across physical and virtual laboratory environments, making it suitable for validating devices with multiple interfaces and rapidly changing software.

The framework uses an Agentic AI core to interpret test intent, generate automation, execute the resulting code, and analyse feedback. The approach can also help teams cover complex scenarios and edge cases more quickly than conventional script-development workflows.

A key capability is self-healing test automation. When a generated or existing test fails because of changes in a device’s user interface, API, or implementation, kit  can examine system behaviour and adapt the automation while retaining the original test objective. This reduces the maintenance effort typically associated with large automation suites.

It  also provides intelligent diagnostics for continuous integration (CI) test runs. Its multi-agent reasoning capabilities can analyse failures and logs, identify potential causes, and suggest workarounds. This can shorten the path from a failed test to actionable debugging information. The framework is grounded in GlobalLogic’s existing broadband automation expertise rather than functioning solely as a general-purpose coding assistant. This helps align generated automation with established testing practices and the repeatability requirements of carrier-grade environments.
