The role focuses on end‑to‑end PCB development, hands‑on repair, failure analysis, and ensuring high‑quality production through effective soldering, troubleshooting, and fault‑finding techniques.
Responsibilities
- Design and layout printed circuit boards based on engineering specifications.
- Perform hands‑on soldering, component placement, and rework on prototype and production boards.
- Conduct failure analysis and root‑cause investigations for defective PCBs.
- Develop and execute test plans for functional verification and reliability testing.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve design and manufacturing issues.
- Maintain documentation of design changes, repair procedures, and analysis results.
- Support the RRC (Reliability, Repair, and Certification) process for product releases.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and technicians.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality guidelines.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for PCB processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of hands‑on experience in PCB repair, failure analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in soldering techniques, including surface‑mount and through‑hole components.
- Strong knowledge of electronic circuit theory and component behaviour.
- Familiarity with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad, or Eagle).
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, layout files, and bill of materials.
- Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analysers.
- Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail in fault finding.
- Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
- Willingness to work in Numeric Raipur location and adhere to project timelines.
