As a Component Engineer/Analyst at MKS Global Capability Center Bangalore, you will partner with R&D teams across MKS PSD Business Units to research, validate, and maintain electronic components’ engineering data and documentation.
You Will Make An Impact By
- Sustaining Electrical Engineering – schematic evaluation and component research, identify and harmonise commonly used electronic components, such as ICs, resistors, capacitors,
- Obsolescence management, sourcing and evaluating alternative components
- Complete documentation of designs conforming to MKS documentation standards, including detail and assembly drawings, BOMs, RoHS certificates
- Closely coordinate with design engineering, manufacturing, and purchasing
Skills You Bring
- 2+ years post-educational degree.
- Experience with electrical hardware designs and reading electrical schematics
- Experience with the Engineering Change Order process, product BOMs, design changes documentation, and new product introduction
- Experience with obsolescence management, Silicon Expert preferred
- Working knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance for electrical components
- Experience with Agile or SAP ERP systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
