Job Overview
As an Electronics Hardware Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and testing electronic hardware components and systems. Your responsibilities will span from initial concept to product deployment. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze hardware issues, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities
- Create and prototype electronic circuits and systems based on project requirements
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to define specifications and design constraints
- Conduct thorough testing of hardware components to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues during testing phases
- Investigate hardware failures, anomalies, and performance issues.
- Identify root causes by analyzing data, conducting experiments, and using diagnostic tools
- Create and maintain engineering documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports
- Work closely with software engineers, firmware developers, and other team members to integrate hardware with software systems
- Assist in estimating costs, timelines, and resource requirements for hardware development projects
- Provide support during manufacturing, assembly, and production phases
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- Familiarity with analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and signal integrity.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with hardware simulation and modeling tools is a plus.
