Role Description

This is a Hardware Design Engineer role and is a full-time on-site position located in Bengaluru. The Hardware Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing electronics hardware, circuit design, hardware architecture and hardware development for satellite and defence systems.

Responsibilities

  • Review and understand electrical schematic designs
  • Perform design reviews with other team members
  • Perform layout design based on these schematic designs, complying with product requirements
  • Close collaboration with other project members (system, mechanical, hardware and firmware engineers, etc.)
  • Prepare PCB/PCB-A production documentation
  • Support all stakeholders participating in the production phase (logistics, manufacturing, etc.)
  • Thorough understanding of analog and digital electrical schematics
  • Experience with high-density design and signal integrity design techniques
  • Experience with mixed analog/digital PCB design techniques

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field
  • Strong skills in Electronics Hardware Design, Hardware Design, and Circuit Design
  • Experience in Hardware Architecture
  • Strong experience in Hardware development
  • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools
  • Experience in FPGA design and programming
  • Experience in the Defence / Aerospace Industry is a plus
