Job Description
As a Production Engineer at CENSANEXT Systems Pvt Ltd, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful production of IoT electronics products for the Agritech and Supply Chain sectors. You will be responsible for managing both internal manufacturing processes and collaborating with external vendors to meet our production needs. Your role will encompass various tasks related to procurement, quality control, logistics, and support for new product development. In addition, you will be actively involved in hands-on work for low-volume production and spares manufacturing. Key Responsibilities
- Manage Internal Manufacturing for low volume production and spares, ensuring efficient and quality production processes. Be actively involved in hands-on manufacturing tasks.
- Collaborate with external vendors to manage manufacturing processes, overseeing quality control (QC) to maintain product quality standards.
- Manage vendors for procurement and stock of materials required for production, ensuring a steady supply chain.
- Conduct market surveys for raw materials, interact with potential vendors, and evaluate the feasibility of new suppliers.
- Lead negotiations and cost reduction efforts to optimize production costs while maintaining product quality.
- Provide logistics and transportation support for the timely delivery of goods to customers and partners.
- Manage in-house stock in the store, ensuring accurate inventory levels and organization.
- Collaborate with business and on-ground teams to plan production schedules and adapt to changing demand. Assist them with Installation and any Issues with the products.
- Lias With the finance department and ensure smooth transactions with the vendors.
- Assist the R&D team with information and support to bring new product designs to production readiness.
- Travel to vendor and customer locations to interact with potential partners, fostering collaborative relationships.
Additional Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to recommend process and product improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production-related issues and optimize product quality.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related field.
- Proven experience in production engineering, preferably in IoT electronics or related industries.
- Strong understanding of quality control, procurement, and supply chain management.
- Excellent negotiation and cost reduction skills.
- Proficiency in project management and production planning.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel to vendor and customer locations as needed.
