Role Overview
We are seeking a PCB Design & Development Engineer with strong expertise in schematic design, PCB layout, and hardware validation. The role involves end-to-end design of high-quality, reliable PCBs for embedded and electronic systems.
Responsibilities
- Design schematics and PCB layouts (single-layer to multi-layer boards).
- Work with EDA tools (Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad, Eagle, etc.).
- Collaborate with hardware/firmware teams for design integration.
- Ensure signal integrity, EMI/EMC compliance, thermal management, and manufacturability.
- Create Gerber files, BOM, and assembly drawings.
- Coordinate with fabrication & assembly vendors for prototype and production builds.
- Perform DFM/DFT analysis and design reviews.
- Test and debug PCBs, ensuring product reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years in PCB design & hardware development.
- Proficiency with PCB CAD tools (Altium, OrCAD, etc.).
- Strong understanding of high-speed design, analog/digital circuits, power electronics.
- Knowledge of IPC standards, EMI/EMC design practices, and PCB manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience in prototyping, validation, and debugging.
Good to Have
- Experience with HDI, RF, or high-speed boards.
- Familiarity with IoT, automotive, or medical device PCBs.
- Exposure to mechanical CAD integration (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
