Role Overview
We need a Senior Hardware Tester to validate and stress-test embedded IoT hardware at scale (100k+ units). Hands-on with ESP32, EC200U, LoRa, Bluetooth, E-metering & battery systems is key.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & execute test plans (ESP32/EC200U/LoRa/Bluetooth)
- Validate performance, stability, power & durability (battery/E-metering)
- Run edge-case, environmental & long-duration stress tests
- Build automated setups, test jigs & tools for mass production
- Partner with HW/FW/Production for debug & RCA
- Pre-cert testing; ensure compliance (EMI/EMC, etc.)
- Drive testability feedback & reliability improvements
- Monitor field data; recommend continuous improvements
Must-Have
- 6+ yrs HW testing for IoT
- Strong with ESP32, EC200U, LoRa, Bluetooth
- E-metering, low-power & battery systems testing
- Mass production experience (100k+ units)
- Lab gear: scopes, logic analyzers, signal gens, battery simulators
- Proven debugging & root-cause analysis
Good to Have
- ATE/test jigs & production testing
- QA docs, failure reporting, traceability
- Compliance: CE, RoHS, EMI/EMC
- Python/automation for test
