Role: Software Test Engineer/ Quality Assurance Engineer
Position: EVCS R&D, Gurgaon, Delta Electronics India,
Qualification: B.Tech./B.E. in Computer Science/Electronics or equivalent

Skills
- Knowledge of embedded software and hardware architectures
- Hands-on experience on Linux & shell scripting preferred
- Ability to debug and diagnose issues with hardware interconnections (Ethernet, RS-232/422/485, synchronous serial, USB, etc.)
- Working knowledge of computer communication and application protocols such as IP, UDP, TCP, HTTP, telnet, websockets
- Facilitate procedures and create documentation for validating and certifying software/firmware released to customer & manufacturing for production
- High-level understanding of AC and DC power systems architecture and hardware is a plus
- Prior experience of testing EV chargers. Knowledge of charging Protocols – CCS, GBT & OCPP and using equipment like- Oscilloscope, logic analyser for debugging is a plus
Responsibilities
- Automated & manual testing of embedded software/firmware
- Develop, with the help of engineering and product management, test plans and automated testing tools which provide desired coverage and defect detection capabilities
- Perform the system tests required for both new feature development as well as system-wide regression testing to validate operation
- File and track bugs from opening to closure after verification
- Report defects and follow-through as necessary to complete the testing cycle
