Role Summary

We are hiring a Soldering / PCB Assembly Technician to join our hands-on hardware team. This role is ideal for entry-level candidates with up to 1 year of experience in manual soldering and PCB assembly (SMT/THT). The position starts with a 6-month probation period and offers a performance-based salary thereafter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hand soldering of SMD and through-hole (THT) components
  • Assemble PCBs based on circuit diagrams, BOM, and layout instructions
  • Conduct continuity checks and functional testing of PCBs
  • Support engineers in rework, prototyping, and troubleshooting
  • Follow ESD and safety protocols during assembly and handling
  • Maintain clean, organized, and documented assembly workflows

Required Qualifications

  • Education: ITI or Diploma in Electronics and Communication (ECE), Electrical and Electronics (EEE), or Information Technology (with electronics relevance)
  • Experience: 0–1 year in hand soldering, PCB assembly, or electronics hardware work
  • Skills: Basic understanding of electronic components, soldering tools, and testing instruments
  • Steady hand and attention to detail for precise soldering work
  • Ability to follow instructions, diagrams, and safety guidelines
  • Willingness to relocate to Chennai and commit to a 1.5-year service agreement

Compensation & Terms

  • Stipend: ₹15,000/month for the first 6 months (probation period)
  • Post-Probation: Salary will be determined purely based on performance
  • Job Type: Full-Time
  • Location: On-site – Chennai, Tamil Nadu
  • Bond: 1.5-year service agreement upon joining
