In a city where tradition intersects with technology, Utkarsh Kapoor and Ramee Kachroo united over a shared vision to transform an industry. After years in the corporate world, they felt compelled to start their own venture. Drawing on Utkarsh’s expertise in rural milk supply chains and Ramee’s experience with grassroots projects, they conceptualised a solution that set their journey in motion.
Their journey began with a vision: to enhance the dairy supply chain from its foundation. They imagined a technology capable of on-site milk quality testing, determining fat content and detecting adulterants within seconds, all without requiring internet connectivity. This tool empowers farmers by ensuring fair compensation aligned with the quality of their milk.
Discussing the distinctiveness of their technology, Utkarsh explains, “When a farmer arrives to pour milk, it takes just about 40 seconds for the device to conduct an analysis. It evaluates the milk’s fat content and screens for any impurities. From these results, we can instantly calculate the fair payment due to the farmer for their produce.”
