  • Ultra-wide input range of 9-75 VDC (100V/100 ms)
  • Dimensions of 57.9 x 36.8 x 12.7 mm
  • Lifetime of 3.78 million hours (Mhrs)

This DC/DC converter comes fully equipped with comprehensive features, including remote control, output trim, and remote sensing, providing users with flexibility and control over their power solutions. It incorporates advanced protection mechanisms such as over-temperature, input under-voltage lockout, and output over-voltage and short circuit protection, enhancing the reliability and safety of the product. Designed in the industry-standard quarter-brick format and is equipped with through-pin connections for easy integration. It operates efficiently even at a maximum baseplate temperature of 110°C, allowing it to function without derating in ambient temperatures of up to 85°C with 3 m/s airflow or up to 75°C ambient with natural convection when mounted on a cold wall.

Regarding electromagnetic compatibility, the converter complies with Class B standards for EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), including EN 55032, CISPR 32, and FCC part 15J. The product also boasts exceptional reliability, with a well-rated lifetime according to Telcordia SR-332 standard, issue 3 method 1, at 40°C ambient. The series is available for sampling, with plans for full-scale production slated for December. This innovative DC/DC converter is poised to meet various industries’ and applications’ evolving power needs.

David Xie, Director of R&D and Product Management at Flex Power Modules in Shanghai, emphasised the significance of the converter’s ultra-wide input range, stating, “The ultra-wide input range means that the part can ride through dips and surges in tough environments, or one-part can cover a range of nominal inputs, reducing inventory holding.”
