New Micro Peltier Modules With Compact Footprints

These compact Peltier modules offer reliable solid-state construction, precise temperature control and quiet operation

CUI Devices, a technology company focused on the development, manufacturing and distribution of electronic components, has expanded its Peltier module product line with the addition of micro Peltier modules. These offer reliable solid-state construction, precise temperature control and quiet operation for space-constrained designs where forced air cooling is not an option.

The possible applications of these devices include medical, industrial, refrigeration and sealed environments.

The single-stage thermoelectric coolers feature:

  • Temperature specifications of 77 degrees Celsius (Th=50°C)
  • Qmax ratings from 0.2 W to 4.7 W (Th=50°C)
  • Current ratings from 0.7 A to 3.4 A
  • Voltage ratings from 0.5 V to 3.9 V

Several models further offer gold plated metallized faces that are suitable for solder mounting.

The micro Peltier modules are now available in compact package sizes with dimensions from 3.4 mm to 9.5 mm and profiles as low as 1.95 mm.
