At CES 2024,the company is set to showcase the industry’s most potent solutions, addressing the demand for low-power data storage and NAND storage solutions, which include:

  • PS5031-E31T: A Low-Power PCIe 5.0 controller with a 4-channel DRAMless design, offering up to 10.8GB/s performance and a maximum capacity of 8TB.
  • PS5026-E26 Max14um: This PCIe 5.0 E26 controller, equipped with I/O+ Technology, provides increased capacity and accelerated performance. It is the most powerful device in its class, delivering 14GB/s+ sustained sequential read performance and exceeding 1000MB/s in all PCMark 10 and 3DMark Storage Tests.
  • PS5027-E27T: Representing the next generation in low-power, high-performance PCIe Gen4 SSDs, this device comes in a 2230 form factor optimized to reduce game load times in portable gaming devices such as the Steam Deck, Ally, and Legion Go.
  • PS2251-21 (U21): Unveiling the world’s first USB4 single-chip solution, this product is tailored for small portable devices in conventional and unconventional form factors. It boasts up to 4GB/s performance.

Dinesh Bahal, Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Micron’s Commercial Products Group, reflected on the successful collaboration between Micron and Phison in 2023, including their ‘Power of Five Ecosystem’ project that brought innovative technologies like DDR5, AM5, and PCIe Gen5 SSDs to the market. This partnership resulted in groundbreaking products such as the Crucial T500 SSD and the world’s fastest consumer SSD, the Crucial T700 Gen5 SSD.
