VERMES Microdispensing, a manufacturer of dispensing systems, has announced the launch of the MDS 3080 Series, a piezo dispensing system. This solution offers low to medium-dispensing technology and can handle various materials. It can adjust its force and closure function to meet the needs of the medium, making it suitable for sensitive materials such as biomolecules, 3D living organ analogues, protein solutions, and DNA arrays. The MDS 3080 dispenser provides micro-shot, contact-free jet dispensing with a valve that offers stability and adjustability. It can be integrated into almost all axis and robot systems.

The series is designed for integration into automated lines, featuring an adjustment for configuration. Its interchangeable tappet allows for versatility in shot sizes and simplifies cleaning by offering a range of tappets and nozzle inserts from VERMES Microdispensing.

The series is suitable for various applications in the electronics industry, where precision, repeatability, and reliability are essential. Built-in monitoring features ensure consistent dispensing results, with the ability to process liquids and pastes accurately.

System providers benefit from maintenance costs, process reliability, and planning security. The modular design separates the actuator from the fluid system, which can be disassembled into parts for maintenance.

The Bayonet Fluid Box Body design minimizes system downtime during media changes, allowing for the replacement of the fluid system with a click. This design also enables cleaning all components in contact with the media, with accessible areas that require no tools.

“The new MDS 3080 dispensing solution is a great addition to our line-up,” commented VERMES Microdispensing CEO Stefan Hirte.

“Especially in rough industrial production lines, the MDV 3080 proves to be a high-precision, ready-to-use jetting valve engineered to provide greater efficiency, productivity and flexibility,” Stefan Hirte added.
