Qualification required: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Electronics/Computer Science/SW Engineering
Must have skills: Testing embedded system both hardware and firmware/ embedded systems, hardware, firmware, software, oscilloscope, black box and white box testing, test plan / result
Job Responsibilities
- Understand the product specification and design the test plan/cases, execute the test cases and record bugs
- Read electronics schematics, know the peripherals of a MCU, including AD/DA, RTC, UART, I2C, GPIO, EEPROM, etc.,
- Know how to work with oscilloscope, multimeter, signal generator to measure voltage, current, power, frequency, etc.,
- Understanding and experience of black box testing and writing test cases
- Experience in Modbus, i2c, SPI communication protocols
- Know the danger of electric and how to prevent from being hurt
- Build test fixture
- Experiences in Wi-Fi testing, Bluetooth testing and compliance testing is a plus
- Writing automated test cases is great plus
- International client interaction and travel is a big plus
- Willing to travel to client site (USA/ EU/domestic) for long-term / short-term onsite assignments based on company requirements
