New panel-mount push buttons bring IP67 sealing, wide ratings, and illumination options for industrial electronics.

A new range of panel-mount push-button switches has been introduced by Same Sky’s Devices, targeting industrial and embedded-system designers seeking compact, rugged, and configurable input solutions. The series includes multiple variants designed to support diverse control requirements, combining environmental protection with flexible electrical configurations.
The key features are:
- IP67-rated sealing for harsh environments
- Momentary and maintained switch options
- SPST / SPST-NO with off-on and off-(on) functions
- Optional LED illumination with multiple colour choices
- Wide voltage (12–250 V) and current (up to 5 A) support
At the core of the launch are four switch families—PB2, PB3, PB4, and PB5—engineered to address both simple and illuminated interface needs. The switches are available in momentary and maintained actuation types, enabling use across applications such as machinery controls, automation panels, instrumentation, and power systems. Designers can also choose between SPST and SPST-NO circuit configurations, as well as off-on and off-(on) switching functions, providing adaptability for different circuit designs.
A key highlight is the IP67-rated sealing across all models, ensuring resistance to dust, moisture, and contaminants typically encountered in harsh industrial environments. This makes the switches suitable for outdoor installations, factory floors, and equipment exposed to vibration or washdown conditions.
Mechanically, the switches feature round button actuators with either domed or raised profiles, offering tactile feedback and ergonomic operation. Operating force ranges from 300 to 770 gf, allowing designers to balance sensitivity and resistance to accidental activation depending on application needs.
Select variants—PB3L, PB4L, and PB5L—integrate LED illumination, with options for green, red, or white lighting, and optional power symbol markings. This provides a clearer visual indication on control panels, particularly in low-light or high-noise environments where quick status recognition is critical.
The switches support voltage ratings from low-voltage DC systems (12–28 Vdc) to higher AC applications (115–250 Vac), with current handling up to 5 A. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, the devices are designed for reliability across demanding thermal conditions.
Available immediately through distribution, the series is positioned as a cost-effective solution for scalable industrial designs requiring durability, visibility, and electrical versatility.
