New storage, memory, and security tools are arriving for data centers, workstations, and data handling systems with updated capacity and performance features.

Kingston Technology is expanding its lineup of memory, secure storage, and enterprise SSDs, adding higher-performance DDR5 RDIMMs, a faster-capacity data center NVMe drive, and a more secure USB flash solution aimed at professional and enterprise users.
The most capacity-focused update is the new version of the Kingston DC3000ME Gen5 U.2 NVMe SSD, which now scales up to 30.72TB. Built for data centers and high-performance servers, it uses a PCIe 5.0 interface for up to 14GB/s sequential reads and up to 2.8 million IOPS on random reads. It is designed for heavy workloads such as AI processing and large-scale analytics, while supporting backward compatibility with PCIe 4.0 systems. The drive also includes enterprise safeguards like power loss protection, AES 256-bit encryption, and TCG Opal 2.0 compliance support.
In the workstation and high-performance computing space, Kingston is also pushing memory speeds higher with its updated Kingston FURY Renegade Pro DDR5 RDIMM lineup. Targeted at high-end desktops and workstations using Intel XMP or AMD EXPO, the modules now reach up to 7600MT/s. Selected variants include newly designed aluminum heat spreaders for improved thermal control under sustained loads, along with ECC-enabled overclocking support for maintaining data integrity in demanding workloads like simulations, AI development, and data science.
On the security side, Kingston is introducing the IronKey Locker+ 50 G2 USB Flash Drive, a hardware-encrypted portable storage device aimed at users handling sensitive data. It uses AES 256-bit encryption with FIPS 197 validation and includes protections against firmware tampering, brute-force attacks, and BadUSB-style threats. The drive supports dual password roles for administrators and users, multiple password complexity modes, and built-in safeguards like auto-locking after failed attempts and crypto-erase functionality. It works across Windows and macOS without requiring additional software.
Kingston Technology is positioning the updates as part of a broader push to address three pressure points in modern computing: higher performance for compute-heavy workloads, greater capacity for data-intensive infrastructure, and stronger built-in security for portable and enterprise storage.
