TDK has expanded its D1SE DIN-rail power supply series with new 12 V, 48 V, and 72 V output options, extending the range beyond the existing 24 V models. The additions target applications including factory automation, industrial networking, PoE equipment, motor drives, renewable energy systems, and EV charging infrastructure.

The new models are available in power ratings of 120 W, 240 W, and 480 W and are designed to operate from both AC and DC power sources. They support an input range of 85–264 Vac and 93–300 Vdc, allowing use with AC mains, DC buses, and battery systems.

The 12 V versions are intended for PLCs, sensors, robotic arms, and security systems. The 48 V models target industrial networking and Power over Ethernet applications, while the 72 V variants are designed for DC motors and drive systems.

The D1SE series offers efficiency levels above 95%, reaching up to 96% on some models. Higher efficiency reduces power losses and heat generation, helping extend the operating life of components such as electrolytic capacitors while lowering energy consumption.

The power supplies also include a boost function that can deliver up to 150% of rated power when required. Push-in wiring terminals are used to reduce installation time and support automated wiring processes. An A5 version adds board coating and a DC OK relay contact for system status monitoring.

The metal housing is designed to reduce space requirements in control cabinets and industrial equipment. Depending on the power rating, enclosure widths range from 38 mm for 120 W models to 60 mm for 480 W versions, leaving room for additional DIN-rail-mounted components.

The D1SE series includes surge protection rated at 4 kVac and isolation ratings of 5000 Vdc from input to output, 3100 Vdc from input to ground, and 750 Vdc from output to ground. The units use convection cooling and can operate in ambient temperatures from -25°C to +70°C, with derating above +55°C.

The series meets IEC, EN, UL, CSA, and IS safety and EMC standards and can be used in industrial control systems, machinery, communications equipment, production facilities, renewable energy installations, and EV charging systems.
