A DDR5 memory combines speed and built-in cooling to support AI workloads, gaming, content creation, and overclocking during long-running tasks.
Origin Code has launched the VORTEX DDR5 memory series, offering capacities of up to 256GB (4×64GB), transfer speeds of up to 6200 MT/s, and an active cooling system designed to support AI workloads, gaming, content creation, and overclocking.
A key feature of the VORTEX DDR5 series is its active cooling design. Each module uses three 40×40×20mm dual-ball bearing fans that provide up to 22.5 CFM of airflow to remove heat during sustained workloads such as AI processing and gaming. The fan design is intended to reduce friction and noise while improving long-term reliability.
The cooling system is combined with Origin Code’s patented Scale Cut Cooling Fin structure. The fins use 0.75mm double-beveled recesses to increase surface area and improve airflow across the module. According to the company, this design improves heat dissipation by up to 39.8% compared to conventional designs.
The memory modules also feature aluminum alloy heat spreaders in Mirrored Silver and Meteorite Black finishes, along with integrated RGB lighting that supports synchronized lighting effects in compatible systems.
