XP Power has introduced the LBA series of enclosed, chassis-mount AC-DC power supplies for industrial applications. The new series offers single-output models ranging from 35W to 350W and is designed for industrial automation, security and surveillance, lighting control, and smart building equipment.

The LBA series supports regulated output voltages from 5VDC to 48VDC, depending on the model, with adjustable output voltage to compensate for voltage drops and system tolerances. This helps maintain the required voltage at the load and improves system performance. It also accepts a universal input of 90VAC to 264VAC and includes active power factor correction (PFC) for use in different regions.

The power supplies deliver up to 90% efficiency, reducing heat generation. The 35W and 50W models measure 99 x 82 x 30 mm, while the 75W model measures 99 x 97 x 30 mm, making them suitable for space-limited designs. Models up to 200W use fanless convection cooling for silent operation, while the 350W version uses a fan to support higher power output. The series operates in temperatures from -30°C to +70°C.

The enclosed chassis-mount design provides protection against dust and accidental contact, making the power supplies suitable for industrial environments. The series also carries worldwide ITE safety approvals. Class I construction with protective earth helps meet equipment safety requirements, while Class B conducted and radiated emissions reduce or eliminate the need for external EMC filters.

Other features include a covered screw terminal block for safer installation, a power-on LED indicator, and remote ON/OFF control on selected models. Protection features include short-circuit, overload, and overvoltage protection to improve system reliability.
