Tests and modifies general systems-level software/hardware, specialized utility and/or hardware. Interprets wireless specifications. Designs test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures. Documents systems-level defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to developers. Identifies, analyzes, troubleshoots, and documents problems with program function, output, or content. Develops testing programs that assess effectiveness of a new system or modification of an existing system.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Lab & Infrastructure Management
- Maintain lab environment with regular ESD checks and ensure all temperature chambers, racks, and PCs are in healthy condition.
- Monitor lab equipment performance and conduct fortnightly audits with published reports.
- Work closely with the IT team to resolve lab PC issues and ensure systems are configured with the correct software tools.
Device & Inventory Management
- Manage inventory of test devices, APs, BTs, MSM parts, and electronic equipments and its components.
- Handle device movement between racks and temperature chambers, including resting and cable connections.
- Procure and manage accessories such as cables and OPEX items.
- Collect and return devices to stores, updating asset tags and MCNs in the Confluence page.
- Coordinate with the proto team for upgrades or reworks.
Testing & Engineering Support
- Execute tests, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems on Qualcomm test devices.
- Pre-validate device boot-up before deployment into the test farm.
- Debug device and JTAG-related issues.
- Provide support to Business Units
- Maintain flexibility in work assignments and ensure timely task completion.
