Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong practical knowledge of electronic components (ICs, sensors, connectors, PCBs, power electronics).
- Ability to understand BOMs, datasheets, part numbers, and component categories.
- Understanding of component substitutes, global sourcing, and typical lead times.
Procurement & Negotiation Skills
- Proven vendor management and negotiation experience.
- Strong ability to evaluate quotes, compare suppliers, and drive cost savings.
- Experience sourcing from India + international platforms (Mouser, DigiKey, AliExpress, Shenzhen markets).
Execution Skills
- Strong planning, prioritisation, and documentation discipline.
- High accuracy in maintaining procurement trackers, pricing sheets, and BOMs.
- Ability to manage multiple POs and vendors simultaneously.
Experience
- 2–4 years in electronics procurement, component sourcing, or supply chain for hardware/IoT/electronics companies.
- Diploma or Degree in Electronics/Electrical (preferred but not mandatory if experience is strong).
