About The Job

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Embedded Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing embedded software solutions that meet our clients’ needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop embedded software solutions using C/C++ programming language for ARM and other RISC-based microcontrollers.
  • Read schematics and datasheets to develop embedded software solutions.
  • Design, develop, and debug microcontroller-based circuits and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and debug hardware and software issues using testing equipment.
  • Create and execute test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.
  • Integrate software and hardware components into complete systems.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are met.
  • Document software design, testing, and implementation processes.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in programming embedded systems using C/C++ for ARM and other RISC-based microcontrollers.
  • Good understanding of digital and small-signal analog electronics and microprocessors/microcontrollers.
  • Ability to read and understand schematics and datasheets.
  • Ability to use testing equipment, such as Volt/Ohm meter and Oscilloscope.
  • Ability to design a circuit from the ground up based on electronic components and circuit application.
  • Understanding of boolean math (logic), interrupts, and memory types.
  • Experience using a debugger and ARM GCC Compiler.
  • Familiarity with FreeRTOS and other real-time operating systems.
  • Familiarity with command line tools and Bluetooth/USB protocols.
  • Hands-on experience in programming at least one microcontroller (8-bit or 16-bit) at the registry level apart from formal education subject/s.
  • Deep understanding of the Arduino platform – hardware and software parts.
  • Must have built at least a minimum of 6 different projects on Microcontrollers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
