Your Role
As a Test Engineer / Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for validating embedded products and software-intensive automation systems through manual and automated testing. You will work closely with development, hardware, and quality teams to ensure product quality, reliability, and compliance across all stages of the development lifecycle in an Agile environment.
In this role, you will
- Perform functional and embedded product testing in Agile development environments.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts based on project requirements and test strategies.
- Execute manual and automated tests on simulators and target systems.
- Define test scope, coverage, and execution strategies for test campaigns.
- Validate software implementations against requirements and design specifications.
- Support Continuous Integration and Continuous Testing activities using Jenkins.
- Report, track, and manage defects using enterprise quality management tools.
- Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Perform hardware-functional validation and system-level testing.
- Support installation, integration, and commissioning activities for embedded products.
- Ensure system quality, reliability, stability, and performance.
Your Profile
- BE/B. Tech or ME/M. Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, or related disciplines.
- 4+ years of experience in Embedded Product Testing and Test Automation.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.
- Experience testing embedded systems and software-intensive industrial products.
- Knowledge of automation testing frameworks and test environments.
- Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins.
- Good understanding of electronics fundamentals and ability to read electrical schematics.
- Experience with requirements management, configuration management, and defect tracking processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute manual and automated test cases.

- Support CI/CD and automated test execution pipelines.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and system testing activities.
- Manage defect lifecycle, tracking, and reporting.
