About The Job

MinionLabs is looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer professional to join their team and help them improve their Energy Monitoring product and create new applications. Your Background

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Communication or related studies
  • Between 1-3 years of working experience.
  • Preferred experience: Extensive Knowledge of Basic Electronics/Electrical systems including Smart Meters, Energy Metrology and parameters. Should understand IoT solutions and the ability to prototype.
  • Proficiency in circuit design, schematic entry, and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium, Eagle, KiCad).
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience with AC-to-DC converters, DC-to-DC converters, analog electronics, and digital electronics.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python for embedded systems development.
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers, microprocessors, and interfacing techniques.
  • An excellent communicator with good personal skills
  • Demonstrated client management and relationship skills
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written)

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop embedded systems solutions, including schematic entry, circuit design, and PCB layout.
  • Troubleshooting: Hardware / PCB Troubleshooting skills (with Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer) is a must experience.
  • Prototyping, Testing, debugging and iterating the firmware and the hardware.
  • Write firmware in Embedded C and Python Languages.
  • Hands-on Experience with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, ESP2 and such development boards.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Embedded Linux and RTOS is an advantage.
  • Understanding of various h/w architectures (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN etc.) should have worked with ADCs, Energy Meters, Smart Meters etc.
  • Familiarity with simulation tools (e.g., SPICE) for circuit analysis.
  • Develop and test documentation for the projects.
  • Conduct extensive research on further ideation and development of the product.
  • Customer experience: Installation, Reproduction and Debugging of customer issues, handling of field queries.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components.

As an Embedded Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing embedded systems solutions. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around circuit design, schematic entry, and a strong focus on expertise in AC to DC, DC to DC converters, analog and digital electronics, coupled with proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.

This Job profile requires the candidate to visit client locations (Commercial and Industrial Facilities) across PAN India when required.
